We are so excited that four great properties in Provo have recently SOLD! The response and amount of activity on all of these properties was incredible.
Two of the properties sold were two luxury canal front villas in the exclusive Leeward neighborhood. Located in the northeast end of Provo, Leeward is not only a beautiful area to live in, but it is proving to be an exceptional investment opportunity as well. It is one of the hottest estate markets in TCI, and is on course for becoming the first fully gated community on the island Providenciales. Leeward is also just minutes away from Grace Bay Beach, voted the world’s number one beach.
House of the Turtle
The first Leeward villa, House of the Turtle, located at 36 Bouganville Drive, was listed at USD $1,9995,000. Built in 2012, House of the Turtle is an elegant 4,800 square foot, 5-bedroom, 7-bath luxury home with many upscale interior features including a breakfast bar and satellite television. Outdoor features include an entertainment pavilion, a detached two-bedroom guesthouse that could be used as an office or nanny quarters, signature outdoor grilling station, two-car garage, and a custom 100-foot private dock for direct boat access.
The Windermere
The second villa, the Windermere, a 8,700 square foot villa near the Provo Golf Club, was listed at USD $5,900,000. Built in 2010, this home has 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. The Windermere was built by RA Shaw, a one of TCI’s best architectural and construction services and builder of many of the most beautiful residences and villas on the islands. The villa features an integrated broadband security system, a built-in home entertainment and electronics system with satellite TV, a 60-kilowatt backup generator, an outdoor grilling station, propane dryers, stoves, BBQ, stylish pavers, a two-car garage, and a 120-foot private dock, offering boat access to the other Turks and Caicos islands. One of the most unique aspects of this property is that it’s located within the only canal community in TCI.
Thompson Cove 2 and Leeward Isles Lots
In addition, RE/MAX Real Estate Group Turks & Caicos has just sold two undeveloped lots. The first was a 1.23 acre lot in Thompson Cove 2, which was listed for USD $79,000. The second was a 0.26 acre lot in Leeward Isles, listed for USD $379,000; this lot was actually two lots together (numbers 22 and 23), which combined offer .26 acres of land and include a 120-foot concrete sea wall. Each of these lots were exceptional sites for building a luxury, resort-style home.
We are very happy to have facilitated the sales of these two homes and two lots, which allowed the sellers to realize their full potential in the value of their properties. We are also very happy for the buyers, who were able to find their dream properties here in TCI.
The real estate market in Turks and Caicos is moving very well. These islands offer the natural beauty and divine weather that the Caribbean is famous for, along with access to practically every type of water sport imaginable. Real estate here is in big demand—for investors, for people wanting to relocate to the Caribbean, and for those wanting to buy a vacation home.
